Service Description

Uncovering the meaning and vision of a story allows actors to discover the “who, why, where, when and how” of each character. Students will learn the craft of acting by awakening their imagination, emotion, and intellect. Great acting requires a disciplined approach to voice, speech, movement, and intellect for dissecting text, subtext, and style. This course will stress both the actor's ability to use "self" (body, mind, and experience) in a believable, honest way, as well as his/her willingness and resilience to transform that "self" beyond its pre-established boundaries. The goal of this course is to apply skills introduced in Fundamentals of Acting to acting for the camera. Through exercises and scene study, we will expand each performer's range of emotional, intellectual, physical, and vocal expressiveness for the camera. $25 per class per student $199 per course for entire semester $499 for up to 3 different RPK courses for entire semester $899 for up to 6 different RPK courses for entire semester
